Here, images from Kuwait, UAE and Libya. I’ve included Libya because of similarities in culture and landscape. I was fortunate to visit Libya in 2008 and then again in 2009. I found Tripoli fascinating and it was sad to learn of the country’s turmoil around the time of the fall of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011. I often wonder what remains of what we saw and of the lives of the people we met.
