PATAGONIA

At the southern tip of the South American continent, Patagonia straddles Argentina and Chile. It is a land of desert, scrubland, mountains and ice fields. Gigantic glaciers create microcosmic climates for the habitable landscapes which sit between them. The wind sculpts the sparse vegetation on the infinite 'Pampas' plains. The lakes shift from azure blues to deep greens as the clouds rush through, lifting spouts of water to the air. Pumas and guanacos play out there endless game of hide and seek along rocky ridges and condors soar majestically above, in wait of a meal. It is the the place of 'Ultima Speranza' at the 'fine del mondo'.
